Our family eyecare practice was established in Dunwoody by Dr. Judson Briggs in 1984.

Dr. Briggs’ areas of expertise include hard to fit contact lenses, ocular disease diagnosis and management, and family eyecare.

Briggs Vision Group offers adult and pediatric eye exams, specialty contact lens fittings, diabetic examinations, laser vision correction evaluations, diagnosis and treatment of eye diseases such as glaucoma, as well as many infections and injuries.Our practice boasts a large selection of high end designer, eclectic, and traditional eyewear styles to ensure the perfect fit for your lifestyle. Having our own laboratory allows us the ability to prepare your glasses promptly while personally assuring our patients quality, value and satisfaction.

We also strive to keep up with the latest advancements in contact lens material and design. We maintain one of the most extensive inventories of contact lenses in the area. For your convenience we offer disposable, toric lenses for astigmatism, multi focal, color, and rigid gas permeable lenses at very competitive prices.

Over the years, our group has expanded to five doctors in two locations. In 1992, Dr. Erick Smith joined the practice as a partner with specialized training in ocular disease. Dr. Christal Sellers began as an associate in 1999 with additional training in ocular disease as well as pediatric eyecare. We were very excited to open our second location in Duluth in early 2000. In the fall of 2003, Dr. Amy Brooks O’Neal joined our practice as an associate bringing more specialized training in ocular disease and pediatrics to the group. Dr. Mary Elizabeth Brice, our most recent associate, joined us in 2010 with specialized training in ocular disease as well as pre and post-operative care of cataract and refractive surgery patients.
